The 8th Annual Honey Festival kicks off at Glen Foerd on the Delaware, Thursday, September 7th. Our monthly general meeting will be held as a part of Honey Festival 2017 and will be on our opening evening at 7:30 PM! Our featured speaker will be Dr. John Cambridge from the Philadelphia Insectarium and Butterfly Pavillion. The Guild will be at the AWBURY ARBORETUM FALL FESTIVAL

Join us at the Awbury Arboretum Fall Festival.  Weather permitting, we will have honey bees in a glass observation hive, so you can meet them up close and personal.  You will also be able to see our Apiary!  Come sample honey and talk bees! The 8th Annual Philadelphia Beekeepers Guild Natural Beekeeping Symposium

The symposium features Dr. Tom Seeley and Dr. Leo Sharashkin. Natural Beekeeping Workshop with Leo Sharashkin

The day after the Symposium this year we will present an all day workshop with Dr. Sharashkin. Keeping bees can be simple, healthful, and rewarding. Dr. Leo shares time-honored methods that take the sting out of beekeeping and make it fun and accessible to all.
