SUMMARY:Bee Chat First Tuesday
DESCRIPTION:Bee Chat: The Space to Chit\, Chat\, Pipe\, and Buzz \n\n\n\nOn the first Tuesday of the month\, hang out in our virtual forum to talk about all things bees. From what’s blooming to who’s flying\, all questions and levels of experience are welcome here. We’re often fielding questions on feeding\, swarming\, pest control\, and harvesting depending on the time of year\, but also we’re sharing notes across our region. Feel free to bring your photos and observations about unusual behavior and climate impacts. \n\n\n\nA button to launch the Zoom session will appear here. If you don’t see it you should\, as if by magic\, fifteen minutes before the chat starts. The passcode will always be “beechat”.

SUMMARY:Made in Philadelphia Summer Market
DESCRIPTION:Volunteer for The Made In Philadelphia Summer Market! We need volunteers to help out and lots of beekeepers to sell their honey. The Made in Philadelphia Market series is one of the premier open air markets in the city. The market is in Dilworth Park over Labor Day Weekend and it promises to be a huge opportunity for everyone who participate. \n\n\n\nTo volunteer RSVP below. If you’re a Guild member you’ll receive Guild credit for showing up which you can use for Guild apparel or classes. \n\n\n\nBeekeeper and Hobbyist members that are eligible to sell honey will see a free ticket if you’re logged in. We need a lot of folks for this event. The Market runs for 3 days so sign up for each day that you would like to attend. \n\n\n\nThe event is from Noon to 8pm on Friday and Saturday and Noon to 6pm on Sunday. We’ll need a driver on Friday to show up at Awbury early and help us get our stuff down there and one on Sunday to help bring the stuff home. The Market provides a tent so the amount of equipment we will have to bring should be minimal. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Summer Market\n\n\n\nSoak up the final days of summer at the Made in Philadelphia Summer Market! \n\n\n\nJoin us for Labor Day Weekend in Philadelphia – September 4–6\, 2026 – at Dilworth Park\, on the west side of Philadelphia City Hall\, for a sun-soaked celebration of local makers\, music\, food\, and community in the heart of Center City. \n\n\n\nThere is no better way to spend Labor Day Weekend than shopping small\, supporting local\, and savoring the last golden stretch of summer at this summer market in Philadelphia. Stroll through a vibrant open-air market featuring 50+ vendors from Philadelphia\, the tri-state area\, and beyond. Discover handcrafted art\, jewelry\, home goods\, accessories\, skincare\, and unique gifts – all while enjoying delicious bites\, refreshing treats\, and festive seasonal flavors. One of the top free events in Philadelphia over Labor Day Weekend\, this outdoor market offers something for everyone. \n\n\n\nExpect lively summer décor\, music\, and special activities that capture the carefree spirit of the season. Whether you’re celebrating with friends\, hosting family\, or simply looking for things to do in Philadelphia\, this market is the perfect way to close out summer in style. \n\n\n\nAdmission is FREE\, and the summer vibes are guaranteed.
