Every summer for as long as anyone can remember a small band of dedicated beekeepers have gathered to celebrate the end of swarm season and the coming honey harvest at the Summer Solstice picnic!
You don’t need to read any further in this post. It’s ancient history. The picnic will be held on July 14th! See you then!

Have some food on us!
We’ll be firing up the grill and chilling some beverages for the Solstice picnic this year. We start at 2 and go to who knows?
This is a great time to get some face time with your fellow beekeepers!
Extract yourself some honey!
We’ll have the honey kitchen open and you can extract during the picnic.
Use the sign up below to schedule a half hour for each 9 frames you have to extract. Bring a bucket for cappings and one bucket per 12 frames or less that you want to extract.
