The 2024 Chester County Beekeepers Association (CCBA) Annual Virtual Conference is set for Saturday, March 9th, from 8am to 5pm.
The Chester County Beekeepers Association has lined up more than 20 distinguished speakers, including Tom Seeley, Randy Oliver, and Dewey Caron, to present on topics including honey bee biology, apiary management, and honey production. Top honey bee scientists, including Kaira Wagoner, Rachael Bonoan, and Zachary Lamas, will report on their latest research and describe the practical applications of their work. Each presentation will end with 10 minutes for a Q&A, and many of the speakers will be participating in two round-table panels for beginners and experienced beekeepers.
In total, they will be presenting more than 24 hours of honey bee education. Talks will be recorded and made available to registrants for two weeks after the conference. Fabulous virtual door prizes will be awarded! Questions will be taken! The registration fee is a measly $30, only $20 if you’re a student. Don’t miss it!
This year, CCBA is offering a special incentive for all bee clubs to promote their conference. They are asking all registrants to identify their local club on their online registration form. If 5 members register and designate a club as their primary home, they will donate $25 to that club, with an additional $5 for every subsequent member of the club who registers. A minimum of 5 members signing up from a club is required to receive this incentive.

But attend the conference! It’s the best value in beekeeping education available anywhere and the videos will be available for two weeks so you can get the benefit even if you’re busy on the 9th.
