Guild Monthly Meeting – Third Thursday – Austin Martin

Austin Martin is a former state apiary inspector, visiting assistant professor at Villanova University’s Department of Geography and the Environment, and a PhD candidate at Temple University’s Department of Geography, Environment, and Urban Studies. In this presentation, Austin will talk about his latest findings on floral resource distribution and bee diversity across the urban landscapes of Philadelphia and Montreal, what this means for urban sustainability, and ultimately what this means for urban beekeepers.
