Maker Faire Philadelphia

Volunteer for Maker Faire Philadelphia! We need drivers and attendees to sell honey and talk to folks about bees. This is a really fun early season event at Cherry Street Pier. To volunteer RSVP below. Folks that are eligible to sell honey will see a free ticket if you’re logged in. The event is from 10am to 4pm but we’ll need drivers to show up at Awbury early or the day before to get our stuff down to Cherry St. and set up, and to help tear down and get the stuff back to Awbury afterwards. Each shift earns a Guild credit that you can use to get Guild apparel or pay for classes.

Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these “makers” to show hobbies, experiments, projects.

We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth – a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
