PBG Three and a half weeks after Summer Solstice Picnic

Come hang out with the Guild! Every Summer solstice, we host a potluck picnic for our members. It’s a great opportunity to visit our apiary, The Farm at Awbury, and meet all of the faces you see during the Zoom meetings.

This year we have a Heat Emergency during our regularly scheduled picnic and so we’re pushing it back in the, perhaps futile, hope that it will be a little cooler later in the summer. This is not a reasonable expectation, but we’re going with it.

We will also have the honey kitchen open this day so you may sign up for extraction if you’re quick.

We will have grill food but bring a dish or a beverage if you like, and enjoy a relaxed social environment where no one will look at you funny if all you can talk about is bees. Of course any topic is open!

Bring some of your honey and share a taste with the assembled masses.

We’re a bit past solstice here, but this is the first date that has worked and so we’re going with it!
