Wax Dipping your Equipment
March 15 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Our friends at BeeWorks are running a wax dipping event for us on March 22. Wax dipping replaces most of the water in your wooden boxes with wax, sealing it against the elements and creating a durable finish that preserves the natural look of the wood. It’s probably the best way to preserve your equipment and lasts longer than paint.
All Guild members are welcome to drive their NEW equipment up to BeeWorks and deal directly with Mike and Sarah. It’s about an hour and 45 minutes from Mt. Airy, maybe a little nearer or further from you. Please call them at the number on the flyer with any questions.
If you’d like us to drive up there for you you can bring your equipment to the Equipment Workshop on March 15th. We’ll take it up, get it dipped and bring it back. We will bring the dipped equipment to the Intro Class on March 29th and distribute it at around 3pm when the classroom session is over. If you can’t make it to that we’ll store your equipment at Awbury until you can pick it up.

This is the address of BeeWorks if you want to go up there yourself.
This is the address of Awbury if you want to drop off your equipment on 3/15.
Equipment Wax Dip Drop Off at Awbury
This RSVP is for equipment drop off on March 15th. The actual event is on March 22. Since BeeWorks is pretty far away we’re organizing to let you drop off your equipment with us and we will take it up and bring it back. If you are taking the equipment workshop you can leave your stuff with us. No need to fill out this RSVP. If you’re planning to go up to Beeworks yourself, you can just show up or give them a call if you have questions.
