  • Speaking of the PSBA they are looking for a treasurer. Let us know if you’re interested and we’ll pass your contact info on to them.
  • A SARE grant for beginning beekeeper training is available. They are offering extensive beekeeping training and a number of additional tools to follow up with you and see if these tools help beekeepers stay involved. Please contact Tiffany Ayres (717) 968-9359 or Saybees.apiary@gmail.com
  • Our esteemed member Jane Tausig is retiring from beekeeping at the end of this season. She has a complete apiary including all 8 frame medium boxes, a Long Langstroth hive and 2 nucleus hives, corresponding medium and deep drawn comb frames, and new frames with wax foundation, some new plastic and many foundationless frames. She has kept up to 4 hives with this equipment. The sale includes one thriving, healthy colony and a Dadant motorized 6 medium frame or 3 deep frames extractor, observation hive, various tools, varroa testing, oxalic dribble kits, and more. Everything a beekeeper would need to begin or expand an apiary. For sale as a package only, not interested in selling piecemeal. Please contact jetausig@gmail.com
  • We have some fabric panels set up along the road to help separate the bees from people at Awbury. We’d are commissioning an artist to paint them. Could that artist be you? Please contact us if you’re interested.
