The Penn State Center for Pollinator Research is now administering the annual winter loss survey for Pennsylvania Beekeepers.

As you know, this data is tremendously helpful in assessing drivers of winter colony loss in Pennsylvania and we’re grateful for all the beekeepers who have contributed their data over the years.

We are trying to help disseminate this survey to Pennsylvania beekeepers through our networks, particularly in SouthEastern PA.

We urge anyone getting this message to respond to the survey, no matter how large or small your loss. The greater the number of responses we receive from beekeepers in the survey, the more precise and comprehensive our understanding of winter colony loss in the state will be.

Here is the link to the survey which we’re asking beekeepers to fill out by July 31st!

Please fill out the survey!
