The annual Pennsylvania State Beekeepers Association Conference is always a good time. If you haven’t gone to a beekeeping conference before this is a good one to get started with. It’s not the biggest but it has great speakers –

Kevin Inglin from the Beekeeper’ Corner Podcast and Scott Debnam from the University of Montana.

There’s a honey show, a vendor’s area (featuring our several of our members), and lots of other interesting content and features. Don’t miss the Penn State Poster Session where Penn State undergrad and graduate students present their research! A real highlight.

For some reason they don’t mention that our own Past President will be talking about the Honey Jawn. Go figure.

If you’re interested in going you should sign up soon at PAstatebeekeepers.org. At least some of us are driving up so we may be able to carpool. Reach out to us through the contact us form if you’re interested in that.
